Matching Up to $5,000 to Help a Local Family Rebuild
The devastation from the July 4th floods in Kerr County continues to weigh heavy on our hearts — but so does the resilience and generosity we’ve witnessed in response.
We said we’d be here to help. And we meant it.
Today, we want to go a step further and introduce you to a real family affected by this tragedy — Nick, Sondra, Greyson, and baby June Ann Cottonware — and share how you can help us change their story.
💔 Their Story: A Wall of Water and a Family’s Worst Nightmare
At 7:30 AM on July 4th, Nick and Sondra were sleeping peacefully in their home in Center Point, TX, with their two young children — Greyson (5½) and June Ann (just 3½ months old) — when a wall of water surged through their home without warning.
Within minutes, their house was submerged chest-high in water. Everything was swept away — furniture, baby items, memories. Both vehicles were destroyed. All communication lines were down. And in the chaos, they had no choice but to leave behind their three beloved cats.
Nick, Sondra, the kids, and their two dogs escaped barefoot and soaked, walking until a stranger picked them up and brought them to safety.
They survived. But they lost everything.
🛠️ How You Can Help — And How We’re Matching Every Dollar
Nick and Sondra now face the enormous task of rebuilding their lives — finding a new home, replacing essential items, clothing, furniture, and transportation. That’s where you — and we — come in.
Renew Wellness & Aesthetics is matching the first $5,000 in donations made to help the Cottonware family get back on their feet.
Your contribution will go directly toward:
A deposit and first month’s rent for a new home
Utility setup fees
Basic furnishings & baby items
Replacement of vehicles
Emergency essentials
🙏 From Our Family to Theirs
We’ve known Nick and Sondra for years — and they are as solid, faithful, and kind-hearted as families come. Their roots run deep in Kerr County. Nick’s parents, Don and Pam, recently retired after years of dedicated service at Mo-Ranch. The Cottonwares are Hill Country through and through.
They didn’t ask for this. But they need our help.
